My dad has owned an Heating, Ventilation & A/C supplier here in the neighborhood for over 20 years and he rules the arena with an iron fist, so to speak.
He actually never lets anyone influence the way that he does work at his supplier at all.
He likes to do things his way, and he is fond of regularly telling people that it’s his way or the highway. I went to school for SEO skills and advertising and I kept telling our dad that both of us should try to run some advertising specials to help him increase his supplier appointments at the Heating, Ventilation & A/C supplier. He just thought it was a terrible system to enact and he insisted that he didn’t need any help changing the amount of appointments at the Heating, Ventilation & A/C supplier. He said that word of mouth in the community was the only sort of advertising that he had ever needed and he wasn’t ever planning on changing that. I told him that he was being ridiculous with this idea, because everyone can use some Heating, Ventilation & A/C SEO every once in a while! I bugged him about it for a long time, despite the fact that I actually couldn’t ever get him to change his mind. Then I suppose he finally noticed that 1 of his competitors in the Heating, Ventilation & A/C supplier was regularly running an a/c service special for the summertime and that totally made the difference in the end. As soon as he saw the ad for that other heating and cooling supplier and their huge air conditioning system special, he called me up right away and told me that he was ready to do some advertising! I know it will increase his profits.
