The new workplace policy with personal days is awful

Now all of that is actually changing because the new supervisor wants things to be completely different.

I have been an employee with the same commercial Heating, Ventilation and A/C appliance installation supplier for the past 10 years or so. I stayed with the supplier for a long while because of the benefits as well as paid time off. When I was hired approximately 10 years ago, I had a week of paid getaway as well as 10 personal days. After roughly four years, I had two weeks of paid getaway… Last year I easily passed that 10-year mark as well as now I have a month of paid getaway as well as 10 personal days. Sadly, the new personal day policy will make it more tough to use my personal days. The new policy states that all personal days must be scheduled more than four days in advance. We used to be able to wake up in the early morning hours as well as take a personal day. If I was feeling somewhat overwhelmed or stressed out, I could take a personal day. If I was sick to my stomach or had a severe sore throat, I could actually take a personal day. The best thing about the personal days was actually being able to take them anytime you needed or wished. Now all of that is actually changing because the new supervisor wants things to be completely different. The guy has been entirely changing a lot of our rules as well as regulations. Now we will have to request a personal day the week before as well as the day must be approved by management. If the supervisor actually believes we will be too busy, he can actually deny the request. I’m genuinely not too pleased about the new rules as well as I believe it might be time to start looking for a new Heating, Ventilation and A/C installation as well as service job.
