I wasn’t sure about living on my own.
My grandparents had been my world for a long time.
But, I never went back home after graduating from college. Instead, I landed a job in a different part of the country and took up the opportunity to be independent. My first home was a one-bedroom apartment in a small building. The city was huge, but I loved it, having grown up in the countryside. One of the main things I needed to tackle in my new home was the air conditioning. The building didn’t have a central cooling and heating system. So, I decided to install a multi-zone mini-split. It was the right choice for the small space. My research proved beneficial since I learned there were some energy-efficient models available in the market. That way, I could cut down my carbon footprint and save on bills. I called an AC supplier to inquire about the ductless AC. They had the right multi-zone mini-split for my home. I didn’t want to install it the wrong way, so I had an aircon expert come to the apartment. The air conditioner supplier was good and had excellent reviews online for his products and service. One thing I loved about the company was the extended warranty on the air conditioning system. The warranty was for eight years and didn’t have an extension. It was a good deal since I knew extended warranties were massive red flags. Additionally, I was allowed to hire a professional HVAC installer to come and set it up in my home. He did a fantastic job since the air conditioner was also a dehumidifier and air purifier. I knew the air quality and comfort in my home would improve with the new heating and cooling system.
