If you find me a new AC unit, I’ll finish paying for the last one. (only a year old)

Last spring, I bought a new air conditioning unit for my house.

They gave me one year interest free payment plan for the air conditioning unit.

Less than a year later, I was having serious problems with my air conditioning unit. I called the HVAC company and told them what was going on. When the HVAC technician got to the house, after only 10 minutes he told me that I needed a new AC unit. I told him that this one was only a year old and I couldn’t understand why I needed a new one. The HVAC technician looked at me and said he had nothing to do with the AC unit breaking, and all he could do was tell me what he found. I called the HVAC company and told them that the technician was telling me I needed a new AC unit. I had my warranty and reminded them that my current AC unit was less than a year old. The receptionist asked my name, address, and several other questions, and told me that I still owed on the air-conditioning that I now had. I understood that I still owed on that air conditioner, since it was only a year old, but I was not going to finish paying for it since it didn’t last for a full year. I told them that if they were to find me a new AC unit to replace this one, I would finish paying for it, but I was not going to pay for a new air conditioning unit. I wanted a replacement AC unit and I would pay the remainder of what I owed on the current AC unit. The owner of the HVAC company agreed.
